On the 1st November 2022 at a full council meeting, a motion was put forward by Cllr Dan Thomas which was unanimously voted on by both Labour and Conservative members to not raise the Garden Waste Charge above £70 till 2026.
At the budget council meeting on the 27th of Feb, Barnet’s Labour Council pushed through changes to the planning regimen that will potentially make it harder for residents’ voices to be heard at planning.
The Conservative Government has announced that an extra £26 million is to be given to Labour-run London Borough of Barnet to help balance their finances.
Everyone who needs a dentist should be able to get one, which is why the Government has today announced a major new plan to ensure easier and faster access to NHS dental care across England.
From today, constituents across Finchley and Golders Green will be able to get treatment for several conditions at most local pharmacies without needing to see their GP, helping to unlock ten million doctors’ appointments as we cut waiting lists so people can get the care they need.
