Barnet Council first Local Authority to adopt an internationally-recognised definition of antisemitism

The Government has congratulated Barnet Council on becoming the first local authority to adopt an internationally-recognised definition of antisemitism in the battle against hate crime.

Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Local Government, personally wrote to Cllr Richard Cornelius, Leader of the Council, to thank councillors for their efforts.
