Labour's Sadiq Khan wants a 'pay per mile' scheme for Barnet in addition to expanding ULEZ to cover ALL of London.
The Labour Mayor has used air quality as an excuse to tax Barnet drivers, but air quality across our borough is well within the national target for clean air. The real reason that Sadiq Khan wants to raise money from Barnet drivers is his own mismanagement of City Hall budgets. The consultation on expanding ULEZ ends on 29th July - make sure you let Sadiq Khan know your views via the link at the bottom of this page. Barnet Conservatives oppose any kind of 'pay per mile' scheme and we are against expanding ULEZ across all of London. This is a tax on ordinary people who rely on their cars for affordable journeys to and from work.
